LIMESTONE Equity

We back a few of the businesses we believe in.

Our long-term arm. We start in the work as the operating and finance partner, and where it fits and the owner wants it, we invest alongside. Operator-led, one deal at a time, for the long haul. Not a fund with a clock.

Live Today

Skin in the game.

On many engagements we align through equity or value-based pricing: a retainer for the work and a share of the outcome, so we only win when you do. That is the piece of LIMESTONE Equity that is fully live today. The rest is early, and we would rather tell you exactly where it stands than dress it up.

How It Invests

Operator-led, one deal at a time.

Near term, LIMESTONE Equity is an operator-led, deal-by-deal model, closer to an independent sponsor than a fund. We find a business we want to own and operate for the long term, and we bring accredited co-investors in alongside us, deal by deal. There is no pooled fund open for investment. A fund is where we would like to take this over time, but it is the horizon, not today.

For Brokers, Advisors & Partners

Our equity arm never competes with the people who send us work.

This matters, so we will be plain about it. When a broker, attorney, or advisor sends us a client, or when we run a Quality of Earnings or a readiness review, we are working for that client, full stop. We are not a buyer on that deal, we do not shop it, and we hand the relationship back to you.

For Owners

We are not a fund flipping you in three years.

Where we do own, we hold for the long term, keep the people, and carry on what you built. No five-year flip clock, no dismantling the thing that made it work. If a straight answer means telling you we are not the right home for your business, that is what you will get.
